Crews in 4 communities battle brush fires

Dry conditions prompt warnings

Brush fires in four different Massachusetts communities - in Worcester, Milford, Pembroke and along the Lynn-Saugus line - burned more than 20 wooded acres on Sunday, officials said. In recent weeks, brush fires have been reported in several Massachusetts communities, most notably in Brimfield last week, where 52 acres burned. A warning has been declared for Monday indicating that conditions are favorable for fires across all of eastern and central Massachusetts.
