BOSTON—Massachusetts Treasurer-elect Steve Grossman has announced three new appointments.
Grossman said Thursday that Paul Sternburg, the vice president of sales and marketing for the Connecticut Lottery, has been appointed executive director of the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Grossman also said in a statement that Massachusetts Department of Transportation counsel Jamey Tesler will become his general counsel, and former Boston TV reporter Barry Nolan will handle his communications.
The 49-year-oid Sternburg had been with the Connecticut Lottery since 2007. The 37-year-old Tesler previously was a deputy general counsel at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. The 63-year-old Nolan was most recently communications director for U.S. Congress's Joint Economic Committee.
