BOSTON—Boston police say a pizza delivery man has been stabbed to death during an apparent robbery attempt after he was lured to a vacant home.

The victim, described as a man in his 50s, went to the home in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood just after midnight on Thursday and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are looking for two men and woman seen driving away in the victim's car. The green Subaru was found later parked behind a neighborhood church.

Commissioner Ed Davis said police found a significant amount of evidence from the vehicle.

Police say another man was shot to death in Roxbury shortly after midnight. The district attorney's office says a white male was found dead on the Charles River Esplanade at about 4:45 a.m. There were no obvious signs of trauma.
