NORTHBOROUGH

Northborough officials are weighing the possibility of putting three overrides before voters this year.

The School Committee may request a $219,434 override to cover school operating costs if Superintendent Rosemary Joseph can't find enough in the budget to cut.

Residents already were expecting a pair of temporary overrides: one to cover $1.7 million in debt for library expansion and another for $495,000 to design a new senior center.

The Board of Selectmen and Appropriations Committee will discuss the 2008 financial picture at 7 p.m. Monday night in town hall.
