The Citi Performing Arts Center popped a survey into my e-mail box, so I figured I'd click through to see what they - and the market research company Insight Express - were looking for.

Naturally, there's a lot of basic demographic request (are you male or female, how much do you earn, would you identify yourself as Latino...) but other questions which perhaps provide at least a glimpse into how the Citi Center is looking to shape its programming and promotions.

For concerts you attended ... please indicate where you saw or heard any promotions or advertising: Friends/Family, Word of Mouth, Promotions or discounts, Venue/Ticket service email, Other Email, Internet website, Internet blog, Television ad, Retail store, Radio ad, Newspaper ad, Article in newspaper.

If you were to attend a family show in the future, at which one venue in the Greater Boston area would you prefer to attend a show: Wilbur Theatre, Boston Symphony Hall, Boston Opera House, Orpheum Theatre, House of Blues, Berklee Performing Arts Center, The Colonial Theatre, Agganis Arena, Citi Performing Arts Center - Wang Theatre, Citi Performing Arts Center - Shubert Theatre, Bank of America Pavilion, Somerville Theater.

For the live event(s) that you attend in the Greater Boston area, when do you usually purchase tickets: Months in advance, A month in advance, 3 to 4 weeks in advance, 1 to 2 weeks in advance, Less than 1 week in advance, Day of the event.

Do you use any of the following social networking websites: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace.

What are the first three words or phrases that come to mind when you think of the Citi Performing Arts Center - Wang Theatre?

Are you aware that the Citi Performing Arts Center - Wang Theatre is the largest nonprofit theatrical organization committed to Boston and its area residents, annually serving thousands of students and underserved children and families?

Knowing that the Citi Performing Arts Center - Wang Theatre is a national historic landmark, how motivated does this make you to attend a show at the Wang Theatre?
