Kerry Washington weds 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha

"Scandal" and "Django Unchained" actress Kerry Washington, 36, wed 31-year-old 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha in a very under-the-radar ceremony in Idaho last week. E! News was the first to officially confirm the happy news for the couple, who began dating last summer but kept the details of their romance hush-hush in front of the press.

The ceremony for the August Vanity Fair cover girl and her Berkeley-grad beau was performed by a member of his family, while her parents served as their official witnesses, according to

Reps for Asomugha and Washington have yet to release statements on the marriage, but E! confirmed the date of June 24 by obtaining their official marriage certificate from the State of Idaho.

This is the first marriage for both. Washington was engaged to actor David Moscow from 2004-2007.
