Bono, the Irish rock star and activist, speaks at the Symposium on Global Agriculture and Food Security following an appearance by President Barack Obama, Friday, May 18, 2012, at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington.

The business world is buzzing that Bono may become the richest rocker in the world due to his stake in Facebook, which kicked off its IPO on May 18. But when asked about possibly pocketing $1.5 billion during the first day of trading, Bono didn't seem think he'd be raking in that much.

ďUm, I donít think itís true,Ē Bono said when a reporter for The Washington Times when asked if he thought the IPO would make him the wealthiest musician in the world.

Everyone else in the financial world says different, however. Bono, who purchased his stake in Facebook in 2009 for $90 million through his investment group, Elevation Partners, already has a quite a few coins in the bank, with his estimates of his net worth ranging from $350 million to $700 million.

Check out Bono's thoughts on the matter in the video below.
