Waltham steampunk festival 2012
Attendees wandered about the Charles River museum, where exhibits and displays show the rich industrial history Waltham had throughout the decades. The events proceeds benefit the museum, which suffered $500,000 in flood damage two years ago.
One of the physically largest displays in the museum, this firefighting engine served Waltham from 1871 into the 1930s and was drawn by a team of four horses. The vehicle assisted fighting the Great Boston Fire of 1872.
