Marshall Gowell ran his toy truck near the name of his grandfather, Douglas Gowell of Methuen, on the stone memorial in the Garden of Remembrance in the Boston Public Garden. The Quincy toddler was with family members visiting the memorial; his grandfather was among the passengers killed aboard United Airlines Flight 175.
