A black Labrador retriever was killed yesterday when he was electrocuted during a walk with his owner in the woods in Newton, police said. Police received reports of a woman screaming in the woods behind 300 Hammond Pond Parkway at 8:04 a.m., said State Police spokesman David Procopio.
