The Westwood Food Pantry needs canned fruit, canned asparagus and beets, salad dressing, vegetable oil, flour, sugar, and paper products. Those items can be dropped off at the Council on Aging, 210 Nahatan St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The pantry is open to clients by appointment from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday and the first Saturday of the month. Proof of Westwood residency and income eligibility is required. To request assistance, call Trish Tucke at 781-329-8799. The food pantry is a subsidiary of the Council on Aging and helps residents who need temporary assistance.
