The annual award is determined by peer nomination and voting, and recognizes coaches who have demonstrated professional mastery with senior level executives.
The New England chapter is the largest and most active of the organization's, which seeks to advance the coaching profession through both personal and business coaching.
O'Donnell was selected as a co-recipient along with New Hampshire-based Get Your Edge executive coach Ted Gorski.
“This is an extreme honor from my peers and I’m reminded of the fact that I love the work I do every day, and how professionally satisfying it is to partner with each unique leader," O'Donnell said in a statement.
O’Donnell has coached more than 100 leaders and a variety of leadership teams, including those in the industries of biotech, financial services, technology, professional services, and nonprofit organizations. Her coaching team has worked most recently with Biogen Idec, Citizens Financial Group, PTC, Harvard Business School, Kiva Systems, State Street, Sunovion Pharmaceuticals and several early stage venture-backed companies.
Over the past 10 years, O'Donnell has taught in two executive coaching programs and continues to serve as a mentor coach. She completed her professional coaching certifications with New Ventures West and Team Coaching International, and received her MBA from Babson College.
