For those hoping to get into a spooky Halloween mood early, look no further than Watertown.
Halloween Scream opened its doors this month at Watertown's Arsenal Mall, offering children's and adult's costumes and home décor centered around the upcoming scary holiday.
The store has been opening seasonally at the Arsenal Mall for many years, said a mall representative.
The mall is also planning a mall-wide trick-or-treating event on Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with spooky stories and Halloween-themed coloring activities.
The shopping destination will also be adding soft seating areas to the interior of the entire mall.
“With the addition of Halloween Scream opening this fall and the upgraded soft seating, Arsenal Mall hopes to be better serve our customers, whether they are here to shop, to be entertained, or just to enjoy a welcoming and comfortable environment,” said Robert Wodogaza, general manager of Arsenal Mall, in a prepared statement.
