The mansion at Gore Place will sell unique varieties of plants, vegetables and flowers beginning this Friday, May 18.
The annual plant sale will offer unique varieties of annuals, native and improved-native perennials, heirloom tomatoes and vegetables.
With intriguing names like Kiss Me Over the Garden Gate and Love Lies Bleeding, many of these plants reflect varieties that would have been seen in gardens 200 years ago.
Also available will be hanging plant baskets in arrangements hand-selected by grower and floral arranger Scott Clarke, who will be available throughout the sale for consultation regarding plant selection.
The plant sale runs May 18 and May 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and May 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For more information, call (781) 894-2798 or visit the website at www.goreplace.org/plant-sale.htm for a list of varieties.
Please note the list is subject to change without notice.
Gore Place is located at 52 Gore St., just off Route 20 (Main Street) near the Waltham/Watertown line.
