In its ongoing mission to serve the communities in which it does business, StonehamBank recently hosted a Small Business Seminar at its corporate headquarters featuring Attorney Howard M. Brown of Bartlett Hackett Feinberg P.C. and Saleha Walsh of Insource Services. The presentation, which was offered to anyone with an interest, focused on employee classification and addressed issues of concern that employers may face if they mis-classify their employees. The seminar was offered at no cost and also earned CPE credits for CPAs who were present. A PDF file of the presentation is posted at www.stonehambank.com under the Education/Past Seminars link.
The final presentation of the Fall Seminar Series will be on Tuesday, November 19 at 5:30 PM and will feature Tim Halligan of the Exchange Authority, LLC.
