The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that RED SOX Wally the Green Monster™ will be at the Health & Wellness Expo on Saturday, May 4 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Stoneham Middle School. This year’s Expo is title sponsored by Stop & Shop with entertainment sponsorship by StonehamBank and business sponsorship by Hallmark Health System and Winchester Hospital.
This year’s Expo will feature a full line-up of entertainment and performances including the Stoneham High School Jazz Ensemble, Cheerleading team from Stoneham, a reading and safety performance by Stoneham Police Department’s Officer Ryan and Officer McGruff which follows the popular children’s book “Gloria and Officer Buckle”, an interactive demonstration on the benefits of music and movement for young children by teachers from Winchester Community Music School, meeting and photo ops with RED SOX Wally the Green Monster ™, Zumba by Kia Katchar, Belly Dancing by Stoneham’s own Dorthea, and martial arts class demonstrations from Body Mind Systems.
There will be other activities throughout the day, compliments of the Chamber’s Expo exhibitors. These include face painting, children’s healthy lifestyle games and activities, massages by Elements Therapeutic Massage and Redstone Chiropractic & Healing Center, blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, facial sun damage screenings from the Melanoma Education Foundation, “Jump Testing” from Agility Orthopedics, CPR demonstrations by Action Ambulance, “Ask the Nutritionists” from Stop & Shop and Hallmark Heath System, Winchester Hospital Center for Healthy Living – including the CHAMP pediatric asthma information and activities, and much more.
