South Boston voters will have another chance to vet the Democratic candidates vying to be their next state senator.
A forum, sponsored by the South Boston Neighborhood Associations Committee, will be held April 25, at the Lithuanian Club at 368 West Broadway from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The event will feature the three Democratic candidates fighting for the seat left vacant in by Jack Hart.
The First Suffolk includes South Boston, Dorchester, and Mattapan.
Joseph Ureneck, a Republican and Dorchester native, is also running for the seat.
A special election for the seat will be held May 28 and a primary will be held April 30, according to the Secretary of Commonwealth's office.
Hart resigned in January to take a job at a law firm. He was elected to the House in 1996 and to the Senate in 2002.
Prior to Hart, the seat was held by now US Representative Stephen Lynch from 1996 to 2001 and by William Bulger from 1971 to 1996.
