Scituate Town Library will host three lifestyle workshops during the end of April to help locals live a healthier, more fulfilling lives.
On Saturday, April 21, Scituate resident Lara Amaral will give a presentation on Eating Healthy: Change Your Relationship with Sugar…One Craving at a Time.
Amaral, the founder of “Authentically You! Wellness” and “Authentically You! Powersnacks,” is a certified holistic health coach specializing in diet, health, and wellness.
She will discuss information to help locals regain control over their diets and enjoy a healthier, more energized selves.
The event will begin at 2:30 p.m.
The library will also host an event on meditation on Wednesday, April 25, at 7 p.m.
Instructor Lauri Klein will discuss how mindful meditation can change the direction of one’s life, reduce stress, and help individuals live with more calm and sense of well-being.
Klein is also a Scituate resident and has over 20 years of experience in psychotherapy and teaching. She also has a private psychotherapy practice in Hingham.
At 2 p.m. on April 29, the library will hold a household-organizing workshop to help locals become more organized and focused.
Run by Felicia Catale-McCormack of Simple Strategies, this workshop promises to provide residents with the knowledge to set up a Household Command Center.
Included in this is creating a daily flow of paperwork, centralizing important information, and setting up a communications center.
“Bring along a few days’ worth of mail and leave with a ready-to-use bill-paying center,” a release for the event says.

The library will also host their monthly meetings, such as Book Discussion Group on April 23 at 6:30 p.m.; Zombie Survival Club from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on April 24, and a movie club on April 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Astronomy Day will also be held on April 28 from noon to 4 p.m.
