The artistic talents of Scituate's seniors will go on display again at the Council on Aging's second annual art show and sale.
Among the items at the show will be paintings, photographs, birdhouses, knitted items, and birdhouses. Many of the items will be for sale, with proceeds shared by the artist and the Council on Aging, said Pamela Davis, a member of the council's Board of Directors.
There will also be a bake sale, plant sale, and raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will help local authorities implement the Project Lifesaver system, which helps locate people who have wandered away due to autism, Alzheimer's disease, and related disorders.
The show takes place at the Council on Aging, 27 Brook St., Scituate, on Saturday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on June 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the council at 781-545-8722 for more information.
