The following was taken from the Salem Police Department logs for Tuesday and Wednesday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Tuesday, Nov. 13
5:23 p.m. Police responded to Larchmont Road where a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Marblehead had been parked for several days. The keys were in the vehicle, the sunroof was open, and rainwater had entered the front seating area. A dent was found on the bumper and hood, no other damage. The vehicle was towed and Marblehead police were called.
6:16 p.m. A female party reported that her vehicle was damaged after she drove over a pothole on Highland Avenue. State DPW was notified of the condition of the roadway.
Wednesday, Nov. 14
8:51 a.m. Police responded to a possible hit-and-run in the Starbucks parking lot on Washington Street.
12:35 p.m. Police responded to a possible sexual assault on Bridge Street.
2:20 p.m. Police responded to a report of a possible fight on North Street at School Street. Unable to locate any disturbance, gone on arrival.
2:58 p.m. A pocketbook that was previously stolen during a vehicle break-in on Bridge Street was found in the grass by the dog park on Commercial Street by a citizen and turned into police.
Courtney M. Arsenault, of 56 Salem Street, will be charged with driving with a suspended license.
Craig S. Godbolt, 18 Landers Street, Lynn, will be charged with driving with a revoked license, speeding greater than posted, and failure to stop for police.
Jared M. Rhodes, homeless, was arrested on the basis of a warrant and will also be charged with illegal possession of a Class A substance.
Latoya A. Olson, of 129 Rainbow Terrace, will be charged with red light or stop sign violation, impeded operation, and driving without a license.
James W. Zouras, of 166 Gale Street, Canaan, VT, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.
