The following was submitted by the Witches Education League:

Witches Education League ( WEL) is the offspring of two Pagan groups; Project Witches Protection (PWP) and Witches Education Bureau (WEB). Born in Feb 2011, W.E.L. is a not-for-profit organization with the purpose of educating society about Witches, their craft, and their beliefs.

W.E.L. will reach out to any that are interested in what Witches and magic are truly about. W.E.L. will strive to correct any misinformation about the religion of witchcraft. It is not our intention to criticize other religions or their beliefs. Witches and other magical practitioners honor the beliefs of all people and their right to believe as they do.

There are many untruths about Witches and the craft, born out of hate, fear, or other issues causing these untruths to flourish and grow through the centuries. W.E.L. encourages all to ask their questions and to learn about one of Earth’s oldest religions. W.E.L. is not about converting anyone to these beliefs. It is our primary intent to educate and service our community.

We welcome questions and encourage tolerance of all religions. If you or anyone is interested and wish more information about Witchcraft, Witches, or W.E.L. please stop by our website at www.witcheseducationleague.com, www.witcheseducationleague.net, www.witcheseducationleague.org, or www.witcheseducationleague.info.

Our membership is open to all. W.E.L. reserves the right to refuse/ revoke any membership for conduct undermining the rules/ mission of W.E.L.
