This Saturday, the fourth annual Roslindale Garden Tour, featuring eight local private gardens, plus the Southwest Boston Community Garden, allows the curious to look into their neighbors' inventive gardens.
The theme this year is "A Tour for All the Senses," and growing food, being green and being creative in the city were taken into consideration for selection in the tour. The urban gardeners needed to demonstrate how different environments can be successfully and artistically designed for optimum pleasure or food production. Live music will be performed in a couple of the gardens during the event.
Organized by the nonprofit group Roslindale Green & Clean, proceeds benefit continued improvements to public green spaces in Roslindale.
