Police arrested a Quincy woman for assault after she allegedly dragged a pregnant woman with her car.
According to police, a witness reported that the victim and the suspect were talking in the driveway on Germain Ave shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday night when the pair got in an argument.
The suspect suddenly drove away in her red Dodge Caravan, injuring the victim.
The witness called police and described the incident. Police said that the victim, who was seven-months pregnant, had road rash all over her body.
Police looked up the registration information for the suspect and went to her house.
Emalie Bowlen, 21, from Quincy was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (motor vehicle).
Police said they did not know if the victim went to the hospital.
