Homeless man found dead
Police said they don’t believe any foul play was involved with a homeless man who was found dead Wednesday in Faxon Park.
According to police, a call came in at 10 a.m. about the man, who was found behind 215 Quincy Ave.
Police are waiting for the results of the autopsy, but don’t suspect any foul play.
The man was identified as Stephen Hammer, 61, who has an address listed as homeless.
Police looking for robbery suspects
Police are looking for suspects in a robbery of a 47-year-old man, who was robbed in a car Wednesday night.
Police said the man was sitting in his friend’s vehicle at 11:18 p.m., which was parked on Quarter Deck Road, when two men opened the car door, grabbed him, and started punching him in the head.
The victim said the men took his wallet, which had cash and his driver’s license in it. The victim was treated on scene by an ambulance for contusions to the face.
Police don’t have any suspects at this time.
Woman robbed on E. Squantum Street
Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted and robbed a 19-year-old female at 11:21 p.m. on Wednesday night.
According to police, the woman was walking on East Squantum Street coming home from work when she noticed a white male wearing a black hoodie and black pants, approximately six feet tall, with a heavy build, a light mustache, walking suspiciously behind her.
When she went to cross the street, the man ran at her, knocked her down, and took her cell phone.
Police are still investigating the incident.
