The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Wednesday and Thursday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Wednesday, Nov. 28
2:22 p.m. Officer stated that he backed his cruiser into another vehicle on Fay Avenue. There is no visible damage to either vehicle.
2:57 p.m. Party came into lobby to report a past larceny at his place of business at Travelex on Andover Street.
3:40 p.m. Party came into lobby to report that his laptop was stolen from his unlocked vehicle on Margin Terrace sometime overnight.
3:48 p.m. Calling party reports he is concerned that there are two children approximately 4 years of age behind the bar at Gregory's Lounge on Walnut Street. Officer reports clear, gone on arrival.
4:24 p.m. Lt. Richards reports someone stuck a knife or ice pick into the side of one of his tires, flattening the tire.
5:38 p.m. Christopher G. Dunston, of 10 First Street, Apt. 505, Salem, was arrested and will be charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
5:54 p.m. Police responded to a neighbor dispute on Central Street.
10:43 p.m. Police responded to a report of a past burglary on Parsons Street.
Thursday, Nov. 29
1:04 a.m. Officer reports breaking and entering to a motor vehicle at the Homewood Suites Hotel on Newbury Street.
12:10 p.m. James Cronin, of 11 Wheeler Street, Apt. 3, will be summonsed to court and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.
