The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Saturday and Sunday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Saturday, September 8:
12:45 a.m. Nathan Manuel-Jackson, of 10 Holten Street, Peabody, will be summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and defective equipment.
7:54 a.m. Police responded to a report of assault on Washington Street.
9:54 a.m. Police responded to a report of a deceased raccoon on Mount Pleasant Drive.
10:54 a.m. Police received a report of a male who exposed himself at the Holiday Inn on Newbury Street. Officer will document.
2:30 p.m. Police responded to a report of theft in the apple orchard at Brooksby Farm. Kevin Quoc Ho, of 12 Pope Street, Salem, and Severo Crespo Cruz, of 7 Raymond Street, Everett, were summonsed for larceny under $250.
3:42 p.m. Police responded to a hit and run on Andover Street.
6:39 p.m. Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary on Harvard Street. Residents were on vacation and upon return found that someone had popped the screen on a door and the kitchen door was broken as though someone attempted to kick it in.
10:50 p.m. Daniel H. Sargent, of 54 Pearl Avenue, Revere, was arrested and will be charged with OUI and a marked lanes violation.
Sunday, September 9:
9:23 a.m. Michael Mahoney, of 657 Lowell Street, was arrested and will be charged with domestic assault, disorderly conduct and threats to commit a crime.
