The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Tuesday and Wednesday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Tuesday, August 7:
2:39 p.m. Scott Gale, of 278 Newbury Street, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
4:09 p.m. A woman reported that her son found four needles between 118 and 120 Foster Street while playing outside. Officer removed and disposed of the items.
4:22 p.m. Jordan Desmond, of 4 Seamont Road, was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
7:22 p.m. Daniel Miller, of 29 Hudson Street, Halifax, was arrested on the basis of a warrant out of Brockton District Court.
7:39 p.m. Nerissa McGray, of 265 High Range Road, Londonderry, New Hampshire, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon.
10:34 p.m. Police responded to a burglary on Washington Street. Reporting party stated that sometime between Sunday and Wednesday an unknown person entered her apartment by force through the backdoor. Bedrooms were ransacked and approximately $4,000 in assorted jewelry was taken.
Wednesday, August 8:
6:13 a.m. A motorcycle was reported stolen from 2122 Crane Brook Way.
9:43 a.m. A motorcycle was reported stolen from 1128 Crane Brook Way.
10:30 a.m. Frederico Viana, of 32 Collins Street, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to display owners name.
11:46 a.m. A needle was found in a yard on Birch Street.
12:13 p.m. Scott Gale, of 278 Newbury Street, was arrested for violating an abuse prevention order.
