On Wednesday, March 20, Newton Mayor Setti Warren will host Youth Summit II, bringing teens, parents and community members back together to focus on solutions to the challenges discussed during an earlier youth summit in October.
The summit will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Brown Middle School.
"Summit II is an opportunity to learn about the priorities that emerged from our discussions in October and to help us move forward as a community to take action," said a statement from the mayor's office.
"The evening will include a chance to hear from the Mayor, the Superintendent, and teens, small group discussions and an opportunity for all to express their opinion on the best solutions to pressing teen issues in Newton."
