There will be a public hearing on proposed regulations governing the retail sale of alcohol in Needham on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
On Nov. 6, Needham residents voted to allow the sale of alcohol at retail stores in Needham. Until now, the sale of alcohol in town has been limited to some restaurants. While the new alcohol regulations are technically in effect now, the Board of Selectmen will not be accepting applications for licenses until after regulations are settled.
A full list of the regulations can be found here.
Included in the proposed regulations are rules governing hours of operation and signage regulation.
The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. in Town Hall. Public comments can also be directed to the Board of Selectmen, c/o Needham Town Hall, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA or to firstname.lastname@example.org.
