The college search and application process is a time-consuming and often stressful experience. But with new technology, students can access information about schools with only a few clicks.
Needham-based PlatformQ is producing CollegeWeekLive, the country’s
largest virtual college fair. They're hosting an event on New England colleges on Oct. 15. Instead of just looking at college Web sites, the virtual college fair gives students the chance to chat live with admissions staff and students, and ask one-on-one questions without having to travel to the school.
CollegeWeekLive is free to all attendees. Last year more than 50,000 high school students participated and more than 250 colleges were represented.
