Area residents who prefer to keep April Fool's Day more on the cultural side can journey to the Eliot Church in South Natick to hear a classical concert by the Eliot Chamber Ensemble.
The ensemble will perform Sunday, April 1, at 3 p.m. The trio includes nationally-known musicians Margo McGowan on clarinet, Peter Zay on cello, and Stephen James on piano.
The program will feature musical pieces "Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano (Op. 114)" by Johannes Brahms, "Pohadka (A Tale)" by Leos Janacek, and the premier performance of "Summer Music" by James.
The concert will take place in the sanctuary of the church, which is located at 45 Eliot St. in Natick.
There is a suggested donation of $20 per person. A reception will follow the performance.
For further information or directions, go to the church's website or call (508) 653-2244.
