The First Parish Church in Milton has rescheduled its chocolate auction for this Sunday, March 17.
Originally scheduled for Feb. 10, but disrupted by the winter storm Nemo, the auction will take place in the Parish Hall at 535 Canton Ave., beginning at 11:45 a.m. and continuing until all items have been sold.
Members of the congregation will donate an array of goodies, from ornate cupcakes and rich fudge to chocolate-coated homemade marshmallows and the coveted chocolate cheesecakes.
All items will be sold in a live auction led by auctioneer Chris Pitt, and all proceeds will be donated to Milton Interfaith Refugee Assistance.
Now in its 15th year, the chocolate auction is a tradition at First Parish, as well as a way to support local causes. Last year, the auction raised more than $1,500 for the Milton Food Pantry.
