The fifth annual Lower Mills Holiday Stroll has been scheduled for Thursday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Dorchester and Milton Village.
According to the event’s website, more than 40 businesses from the two communities will stay open that night offering live music, refreshments, discounts, and displaying work from local artists.
The Boston School of Music will also have an open house where students and teachers will give live performances and serve refreshments.
In Milton, the Forbes House Museum will offer free tours and the Milton High School string duo will provide live music.
Espirit Du Vin, in Milton’s Central Avenue area, will hold a wine and cheese tasting and nearby, The Plate will give out homemade hot chocolates.
A free trolley will run between the two main areas and a handicap accessible van will run from Standish Village to Milton’s Central Avenue area. Extra parking will be available at the Forbes House Museum, 215 Adams St. and at the CVS in Dorchester, 2235 Dorchester Ave.
