The library search committee, which was put together to help with the search for a new library director, will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Trustee’s Room.
Following former director Phil McNulty’s move to the Newton Free Library earlier this summer, the committee was formed to help library trustees find his replacement.
The committee conducted a survey last month in which Milton residents responded to questions about what they wanted from the new director. Members then used that information to form the job description and requirements, which is now available on the library website.
According to the job posting, the new director should be an excellent communicator, approachable, and “committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming environment which provides a positive patron experience.”
The search committee will also meet Aug. 1 and hopes to have a few top candidates selected later this year.
