Milton voters head to the polls April 24 to decide on several contested races, including one position on the Board of Selectmen and the position of town clerk.
Selectman John Shields is up for reelection and is being challenged by Denis Keohane, a Milton School Committee member.
Three candidates, current assistant clerk Susan Galvin, Michael Joyce, and former selectwoman Marion McEttrick, are seeking the town clerk position, which opened in February after former clerk Jim Mullen retired.
James Henderson and William Bennett are both vying for one town assessor position. And in the library trustees race, incumbents Brendan McLaughlin and Barbara Mason, will face off against Sheryl Fleitman and Herbert Voigt for three, three-year terms on the library board.
Finally, for the planning board, Michael Kelly and Cheryl Friedman Tougias are both seeking one, five-year term.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:

Precinct Four: Milton Senior Center
Precinct Five: Copeland Field House at Milton High
Precinct Six: Cunningham School
Precinct Seven: Cunningham Park
Precinct Eight: Cunningham School
Precinct Nine: Copeland Field House at Milton High
Precinct Ten: Tucker School
