The following individuals were arrested in Melrose between Nov. 12 and Nov. 19, 2012. All charges are alleged, and all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Locations, times, and events appear as recorded by police:
Russell Holmberg, 53, of Melrose was arrested on charges of operation a motor vehicle with a suspended license and leaving the scene of property damage after police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Lebanon Street about about 9:50 a.m. on Nov. 13.
Amber Rabelo, 25, of Melrose was arrested about 4:51 p.m. Nov. 13 at a Waverly Place apartment on a charge of larceny over $250.
Andrew Lorenti, 55, was arrested about 6 p.m. Nov. 13 on Bay State Road on charges of malicious destruction of property and threat to commit a crime.
About 2:03 p.m. on Nov. 15, Wendell Exil, 20, of Malden was arrested on Main Street on charges of operating with a suspended license and operating with a suspended registration.
Richard Schiavo, 41, of Melrose was arrested at the Melrose Care Nursing Center about 4 p.m. on Nov. 16 on an outstanding warrant. Schiavo was subsequently charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
