State and local officials will answer questions Saturday about the cleanup of a May 31 oil spill along the Mystic River.
Representatives from the state's Department of Environmental Protection, the Mystic River Watershed Association, the City of Medford, and the town of Arlington will be on hand for a public hearing at 9 a.m. at the West Medford Community Center.
A tanker truck in the Medford Rotary on Mystic Valley Parkway, near the Medford-Arlington line, spilling most of the 10,000 of home heating oil. The fuel ran through storm drains and into the nearby river.
Cleanup crews have since vacuumed and used pads and booms to absorb thousands of gallons of oil from the river.
The West Medford Community Center is located at 111 Arlington St.
