A 34-year-old Dorchester man is facing arraignment this morning in Dorchester District Court on gun charges and other offenses in connection with the late September quadruple slayings in Mattapan.
Kimani Washington, who has not been charged with murder in the Woolson Street slayings, was arrested in early October in Manchester, N.H.
Washington may not be the only person police are seeking in the case, according to a broadcast report.
Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis told WBZ-AM this morning that "evidence on the scene indicates that there was more than one offender."
"I would say that this is a very active investigation that will result in other charges," Davis said. It was not clear if he meant more charges against Washington or against other persons not yet arrested.
The deaths of four people, including a young mother and the toddler she was cradling in her arms, rocked the city and sparked calls for an end to violence on the streets.
