“We think the Job Fair is a fabulous idea. Many of our kids want to work but they can’t easily connect to the opportunities that exist. The Job Fair and the ongoing role that Marblehead for Teens will have throughout the year to facilitate such connections will be a tremendous asset to the entire community.” says Jim Nye, President of National Grand Bank.
Multiple other businesses have thrown their support behind the effort through sponsorships, including the purchase of a special $50 window sticker.
High school age teens interested in finding a meaningful work – whether through a paid job, internship, or volunteer service - should attend the Fair. Employers will be on hand to speak directly toteens, offer details of the upcoming positions available, and accept applications. Many job openings are for the summer 2013 season.
