A 19-year-old was stabbed twice in Malden Wednesday following an argument, police said.
The teenager was walking near Ferry Street and Upham Street about 9 p.m. when he was approached by two men. An argument turned physical, and the victim suffered two stab wounds, one to his chest and the other to his lower back, said Lieutenant Marc Gatcomb, spokesman for Malden Police.
The 19-year-old, whose name was not released, was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Gatcomb said.
Gatcomb said the suspects were described as Hispanic men, one who wore a black hoodie, and the other a white T-shirt with a red ball cap.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, Gatcomb said.
