Hingham police are investigating reports that five different vehicles were broken into between Saturday at 11 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.
According to reports, some vehicles had been rummaged through and others had items stolen. All five vehicles had been left unlocked and one had its keys left in the ignition overnight by the owner.
Police said the incidents occurred on Porters Cove Road, Park View Drive, and Martins Lane. Items taken include a knife, watch, flask, lacrosse stick, credit cards, a pocketbook, sunglasses, and a GPS unit. A Mercedes hood emblem was also stolen from one vehicle.
All vehicles were located in driveways.
