Framingham snagged a spot on Money Magazine's 100 Best Places to Live list this year, coming in at 38 - just a few spots behind Brookline, number 31.
Newton grabbed the fourth best ranking overall, and Weymouth came in at 87th.
According to Money Magazine's list, Framingham offers residents diversity, a low town-wide unemployment rate (about 4 percent), a revitalized downtown area, and affordable home prices.
Framingham Town Manager Robert Halpin said the town is pleased with the vote of confidence.
"I think it reflects the amazing collection of community assets and quality of life that people in Framingham have the benefit of," he said.
Still, Halpin said Framingham would strive to work its way up the list in the future.
"We’re going to work hard and beat out Brookline next year," he joked.
