Wednesday, June 5
Theft: At 11:13 a.m., police received a report of a theft from Hooper Road. Medication was taken from the victim’s room.
Arrest: At 3:29 p.m., police arrested Mary Baird, 60, of West Roxbury and charged her with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and domestic assault and battery. The arrest was made on Otis Avenue.
Thursday, June 6
Arrest: At 8:49 p.m., police arrested Adael Ariel Figaro, 22, of Yonkers, N.Y., and charged him with attempt to commit a crime. The arrest was made on Providence Highway.
Arrests: At 9:14 p.m., police arrested Marcos A. Mena-Garcia, 25, and Angel Santos, 24, both of The Bronx, N.Y. Mena-Garcia was charged with larceny over $250 by single scheme, credit card fraud over $250, credit card forgery, receiving stolen property over $250, forgery of document, and utter false instrument. Santos was charged with receiving stolen property over $250, marked lanes violation, and speeding.
Friday, June 7
Theft: At 9:54 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a vehicle on Providence Highway. The top of a convertible was cut and a GPS device was taken.
Theft: At 4:08 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a Legacy Place business. A bar code scanning gun valued at $1,500 was taken.
Theft: At 6:27 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a Legacy Place business. Merchandise valued at $1,743 was taken on Wednesday, June 5.
Arrest: At 8:43 p.m., police arrested David Franklin Jean, 22, of Norwood and charged him with larceny over $250. The arrest was made at Legacy Place.
Arrest: At 9:06 p.m., police arrested Garland Houston, 32, of Roslindale and charged him with assault and battery on a police officer, assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and threat to commit a crime. Police had received a call that Houston had made verbal threats to an employee of a Legacy Place business and a hand gesture that he had a gun. The arrest was made on Mah Way.
Saturday, June 8
Housebreak: At 1:24 p.m., police received a report that a Nay Circle resident’s house had been broken into and vandalized.
Theft: At 2:25 p.m., police received a report of theft from a Providence Highway business. A cellphone was taken from a display.
Arrest: At 9:01 p.m., police responded to a report of a shoplifter at the Dedham Mall on Providence Highway. Police arrested Gerson Villavicenio, 26, of Roslindale and charged him with larceny under $250 and assault and battery. Villavicenio allegedly stole a jacket valued at $120 and pushed a store employee standing by the exit door.
Sunday, June 9
Arrest: At 12:53 p.m., police arrested John M. Berry, 26, of Millis and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense. The arrest was made on High Street.
Attempted break-in: At 2:01 p.m., police received a report of an attempted break-in on Liberty Lane. The homeowner noticed a screen bent and pry marks around a window.
Theft: At 3:04 p.m., police received a report of shoplifting from a Legacy Place business. A suspect took six polo shirts valued at $297.
Arrest: At 3:51 p.m., police received a report of a shoplifter in custody at a Providence Highway business. Police arrested Mimi Winterman, 53, of Needham and charged her with larceny over $250. Winterman allegedly took about $420 in merchandise.
Monday, June 10
Arrest: At 2:29 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious person on High Street. Police found Michael E. Bourne, 33, of Canton allegedly verbally harassing NStar gas workers. Police arrested Bourne on a warrant from Dedham District Court for intimidating a witness.
Accident: At 7:50 a.m., police responded to an accident on Etna Road involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. One person was transported to Norwood Hospital.
Theft: At 9:50 a.m., police received a report of a building being entered on Avery Street. Money was removed from a donation box.
