The following information was taken from the Dedham police logs.
Monday, Jan. 14
Arrest: At 2:25 p.m., police arrested Alexander Soto, 23, of Hyde Park, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Soto was arrested on Providence Highway.
Arrest: At 3:22 p.m., police arrested Kristine Murray, 27, of West Roxbury, on a warrant from Dedham District Court.
Tuesday, Jan. 15
Arrest: At 6:55 p.m., police arrested Jose Polanco, 31, of West Roxbury, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Polanco was arrested on High Street.
Wednesday, Jan. 16
Arrest: At 11 a.m., police arrested James Robles, 30, of Dorchester, and charged him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Robles was arrested on Eastbrook Road.
Theft: At 3:31 p.m., police received a report of theft of gasoline from a Washington Street address.
Arrest: At 3:58 p.m., police arrested Robert Perea Jr., 25, of Dedham, and charged him with speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Perea was arrested on Sprague Street.
Accident: At 7:04 p.m., police received a report of an accident on Providence Highway involving a gray 2005 Nissan Altima and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was struck in the Dedham Plaza parking lot and then taken to Brigham and Womens Hospital with injuries.
Malicious damage: At 8:41 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a vehicle on Berlin Street. A rear window was smashed. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.
Thursday, Jan. 17
Arrest: At 8:18 p.m., police arrested Jessica Justinvil, 20, of Brockton, and charged her with larceny over $250. Justinvil was arrested at a Providence Highway business.
Friday, Jan. 18
Accident: At 7:46 a.m., police responded to an accident on Oakdale Avenue involving a blue 2006 Honda Accord striking a utility pole. The operator of the vehicle said her vehicle began to shake uncontrollably and she was no longer able to control it. She was transported to Faulkner Hospital with injuries.
Saturday, Jan. 19
Malicious damage: At 8:45 a.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a front wall of a Davie Way residence. The damage was caused by either a tree removal company or a landscaping company, the resident said.
Attempted break-in: At 10:38 a.m., police received a report of an attempted break-in at a Washington Street building. A drive up ATM machine service door was damaged.
Housebreak: At 10:19 p.m., police received a report of a housebreak at a Cedar Street residence. The resident said the home was entered at some point during the day.
Sunday, Jan. 20
Housebreak: At 10:53 a.m., police received a report of a housebreak at a Scott Circle residence. The rear door was broken.
Arrest: At 10:45 pm., police arrested Andrew L. Purcell, 24, of Needham and charged him with resisting arrest, carrying a dangerous weapon, a marked lanes violation, operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, operating to endanger, and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Purcell was arrested on Eastern Avenue.
Monday, Jan. 21
Theft: At 4:22 p.m., police received a report of a theft of a cell phone at a Legacy Place business.
