This year’s annual Dedham Square Circle fall fund-raiser is piggy-backing on the town’s $6 million Dedham Square Improvement project with a “Dedham Square Makeover Party”
According to a flyer about the event, the organization has “lots to celebrate, most notably the year-end “commencement” of the square project.
A winter end date for construction was recently set at Nov. 15, meaning that construction in the square will be on a week-by-week basis depending on weather from that day forward.
The Nov. 10 event will include appetizers, cocktails, and a live auction overseen by architect Michael Grogan. Festive cocktail attire is encouraged.
Money raised at the event will go to Dedham Square Circle, an organization of residents and square business owners who work to preserve the historic downtown of the town and stimulate economic development.
Tickets are available on the Dedham Square Circle’s website, and range from $65 to $175. Checks will also be accepted and should be payable to Dedham Square Circle and sent to P.O. Box 593, Dedham MA 02021.
The event is scheduled for Nov. 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It will be held at the Dedham Public Library's main branch, 43 Church St.
