Dedham police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection to a robbery at Dedham Savings Bank, 55 Elm St., Wednesday morning.
According to police, a man wearing black clothing, white gloves, and an orange baseball hat walked into the bank around 10:40 a.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money.
The teller then gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the area in a gray-colored Jeep Cherokee.
The bank was closed for a few hours Wednesday while investigators were on the scene, but it is open for normal business hours today.
This was the second robbery at a bank in Dedham this month, after a similar incident Oct. 3 at Citizens Bank in Legacy Place. Police have not reported any additional information about that incident or disclosed any related arrests.
Anyone with information that will help identify the suspect wanted in Wednesday’s robbery is being asked to call Dedham Detectives Rich Porro and Mike Doyle at 781-326-1212.
