The Dedham Library Innovation Team is again transforming the library into a murder scene with its annual “Murder at the Main” event. Last year’s event was prohibition-themed and a number of well-known Dedhamites starred in lead roles.
Saturday at 6:30 p.m., participants will walk through the library where “local celebrities” will star as subjects of the documentary “Women on the Screen.” However, one of the film’s stars, Britsy Cate Allsin, will be missing and “citizen detectives” will have to help piece together the clues of her disappearance.
Local politicians and community leaders will pose at the various suspects and the first team to correctly identify the murderer will receive a gift bag.
Participants must be at least 21-years-old due to “mature themes” and the presence of alcohol.
Tickets are $30 a person or $200 for a team of up to eight players. They are available at the Blue Bunny Bookstore, 577 High St., or online at http://www.dedhamlibraryinnovationteam.com.
