Dedham Square’s Fall Stroll is scheduled for tonight from 5 to 9 in the square.
Restaurants and merchants will stay open later and will offer specials and deals to those who attend, according to Dedham Square Circle, a nonprofit group that promotes the town’s historic square and its businesses.
Among the highlights tonight are a preview party at the Dedham Square Artist Guild, a new co-op gallery that opens tomorrow at 553 High St.
SheepSkate Yarn & Crafts will hold a grand reopening event where visitors can play “Pin the Tail on the Sheep” to win discounts on merchandise at the 549 High St. store.
Blue Bunny Books and Toys, at 570 High St., is celebrating its eighth birthday with a blowout sale and an event to benefit the local nonprofit group, “Birthday Wishes.”
Enter to win a $25 gift certificate at Maribu, at 570 High St., and check out fall fashions, jewelry accessories, and more, officials said.
Other places to drop in, according to the Dedham Square Circle, include Heart of the Square and its new hand-crafted jewelry designs at 574 High Street; the new fall inventory of home accents, art, and more at nest, 622 High St.; an 8 p.m. performance of “Hedwig and the Angry Itch’’ at Fiddlehead Theatre, at 619 High St. (http://www.Fiddleheadtheatre.com); or the Dedham Community Theatre for a movie.
