The following are excerpts from arrest and incident logs provided by the Dedham Police Department. All suspects are presumed to be not guilty until proven otherwise in a court of law.
On June 6 at 11:07 a.m., a caller on Coronation Drive reported that during the night, a vehicle’s front and back driver’s side tires were slashed.
On June 6 at 1:52 p.m., a Hyde Park woman suspected of stealing a Dell laptop computer valued at $599 was located by Boston Police Department in Hyde Park and brought to the Dedham police station. At 3:11 p.m. Laura D. Hamaty, 25, was arrested on charges of larceny over $250. She was released on her own recognizance at 5:35 p.m.
On June 7 at 9:09 a.m., a caller reported that a stonewall and road sign were damaged on Ames Street by an unknown motor vehicle sometime overnight. The state Department of Transportation was notified.
At 9:30 a.m. Robert M. Damore, 43, of Norwood, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and a motorcycle prohibited from passing a motor vehicle in the same lane. He was released to Dedham District Court at 10:30 a.m.
At 3:05 p.m. a female student walking home from the middle school reported to the Avery School crossing guard that three men had made lewd comments to her. An officer went to the student’s home, but she was not there. The child’s grandmother said she would have her granddaughter call the Police Department when she returned home.
At 4:28 p.m. Eric C. Roberts, 29, of Ford Street, was arrested on charges of shoplifting. He was released on $200 cash bail at 5:33 p.m.
On June 9 at 3:29 a.m., a caller reported that a black male with dreadlocks wearing dark clothing possibly fled a residence on Bussey Street with two gold chains and $485 cash.
At 4:59 p.m. a bicycle was reported stolen from Whiting Avenue. The bike is described as a 24- to 26-inch Schwinn royal blue bike, with white wall tires, black hand grips and seat, with a rack over the rear tire.
On June 10 at 9:27 a.m., a manager from IHOP on Providence Highway reported that four males did not pay their bill and fled the restaurant. The manager was able to detain two of the males. An officer brought the males to West Roxbury High School.
At 12:41 p.m. a construction vehicle hit a bicyclist on West Street. There were no reported injuries.
At 3:40 p.m. a juvenile was arrested at 688 Providence Highway on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, larceny from person, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
At 3:42 p.m. Alan S. Wood, 38, of Jamaica Plain, was arrested on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and giving false name/information to police following arrest. He was released on his own recognizance at 7:10 p.m.
On June 12 at 8:49 p.m., Patricia D. Brady, 53, of Station Circle, was arrested on charges of violation of a criminal harassment order.
On June 14 at 8:36 a.m., two complaints were received from motorists who reported that traffic has been backed up at the state construction site on West Street for the past several days.
At 8:45 p.m. a caller on Curve Street reported a housebreak. A DVD player, flat screen television, and stereo were reported missing.
