Boston National Historical Park Superintendent Cassius Cash and Congressman Michael E. Capuano are set to host an afternoon of family activities, cider, and snacks Wednesday, October 10, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Visitors will be able to meet Boston National Historical Park and Boston African American National Historic Site rangers, historians, facility managers, landscape architects and other professionals to learn about the National Park Service and its role in the community. A ranger will also read "Stories of the Battle."
Visitors can also learn about the Massachusetts 54th Volunteer Infantry, the first documented African American regiment formed in the north; climb to the top of the Bunker Hill Monument; and see the "Many Hats of the NPS Ranger"
The Bunker Hill Museum is located at 43 Monument Square.
